The news broke out in November 2021 that Elon Musk along with Neurolink’s Shivon Zilla welcomed twins. The news made a trend on social media with lots of positivity. According to sources, a petition is filed by Elon Musk to change their twin’s names. They want to have Elon Musk’s name in the last and their mother, Shivon Zilla in the middle. It was in reference to the court records covered by Business Insider.

51-year-old, Elon Musk with 36-year-old, Shivon Zilli, filed their petition in court for changing the name. In Austin, Texas the petition was approved in the month of May. Both parents have kept their children’s gender unknown. In fact, the names of the children are also kept hidden.
However, the rep and Shivon kept their silence when Page 6 asked to confirm the news. As per the sources, the twins came into this world, a few weeks before Elon Musk and his ex-Grimes welcomed their second child, who is a girl. Earlier he has a boy with the same. The girl child was born through surrogacy in December 2021.
Musk and his thoughts on birth control
Elon musk has rarely broken his silence on the matters like family. However, during the annual CEO Council of Wall Street Journal, he gave his opinion on birth control. He believes that “there are not enough people”. He gave emphasis on the lowering birth rate. He further added that it is a threat to humankind.
“I think one of the biggest risks to civilization is the low birth rate and the rapidly declining birthrate,” he said. “Please look at the numbers –– if people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble, mark my words.”
These were his statement when asked about his opinion on birth control.
Elon Musk’s opinion on his part as a father
During New York Times interview in 2020, he commented on fatherhood. He confessed that he doesn’t contribute a major role in his kids’ lives when they are young.
He further gave a comment on this then partner- Grimes, saying that she has a greater or more prominent role in their kid’s life. He added that he believes when his kids will get old, he will play a major role then.
