Jalen Rose has spoken up about his divorce with Molly Qerim for the first time. Jalen Rose also addressed the suspicions swirling around his ex-wife, ESPN co-host Stephen A Smith.
In a recent interview with GQ, the sports analyst detailed his divorce from Molly, the host of ESPN’s First Take, which was released on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Jalen also expressed his dissatisfaction with rumours and comments about Molly and Stephen’s close relationship. Molly Qerim’s divorce is explained by Jalen Rose.
When asked about Jalen’s surprising divorce last year, the actor claimed that it was a mutual and amicable breakup.
Jalen addressed the divorce rumour by claiming that Molly and Stephen’s rumoured romance was not the cause of their breakup. The 49-year-old also explained why he waited a year to announce his divorce.
“There’s a thing called pillow discussion, and such things in the relationship are supposed to be holy,” the expert explained, citing the case of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Molly and Jalen married in 2018, but divorced three years later in 2021. They don’t have any of their own children. Jalen and his ex-girlfriend Mauri Goens, on the other hand, have a daughter named Mariah Rose. Jalen, on the other hand, expressed his dissatisfaction with the rumours.

Molly Qerim’s ethnicity was revealed.
According to numerous online sources, Molly Qerim is half Albanian and half Italian. Before garnering global fame on ESPN’s First Take, the now 38-year-old sportscaster was the host of NFL Network’s morning show, NFL AM, and NFL Fantasy Live. Molly is a native of Cheshire, Connecticut, and holds a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Quinnipiac University, as well as past reporting work with CBS.
