Roughly 4 months after the disaster that happened at the Oscar Academy Awards ceremony, the actor will Smith has chosen to offer a fresh set of apologies to the comedian Chris Rock, whom he had slapped while he was on stage at the Oscars of this year, apparently, while on stage, Chris Rock had made some joke at the expense of the former wife of Will Smith, Jaden Smith, which led to the bad boys actor climbing on stage slapping Chris Rock.

Will smith talks about the sensational Oscars controversy
Recently, the men in black actor took to the video-sharing platform youtube and posted a six-minute-long clip where he could be seen talking and addressing what had happened during the Oscar Academy awards during the months of march, the caption of the video detailed that Will Smith has been doing a lot of introspection during the months that have gone by, he also mentioned that audience has poised to him some fair and genuine questions which he wanted to take his own time to answer. He mentioned that he had already reached out to the comedian Chris Rock over texts but has barely got a simple response that at the moment, Chris is not willing to be a part of any sort of conversation with Will Smith, and he will himself text Will when he feels he is ready to. In the video, he went on to admit that whatever had happened at the Oscars was a genuine and honest mistake and went ahead to apologize to him in the video. He went on to say that he regrets his action and is quite remorseful about what had happened, he said that he is a human too who made a mistake.

It appears Will Smith not only apologized to Chris Rock but to his family as well, particularly to the mother of the comedian, he went on to say that his behavior was not acceptable at all and he did not realize how many he had hurt.
