Phillip was famous for his work in the Philippines. He was a comedian initially then also explored the experience of being a director and then also became an actor. He is renowned for producing his work in Bawal na Game show and Prima Donnas in the most.
In The Library Comedy Bar and Restaurant in Manila Phillip gave his performance of stand-up comedy as per reports of The Manila Times.
He made his debut as an actor in the show Villa Quintana, in the year 1995. He also gave an appearance in a few more shows in Filipino TV shows between the year the 1990s and 2000s.

It is also said that he took a break of almost a decade and then returned on-screen in the year 2009. He portrayed the role of PR in approximately 50 episodes of That’s my Amboy which was released in 2016.
His last performance is marked in the five episodes of Nagbabagang Luha in the year 2021.

A night before Phillip died, on 10th July 2022, his nephew Chico Lazaro came to meet the late Phillip. He gave the statement that he saw that Phillip was having breathing issues at that moment.

How did he die?
According to the reports and statements, Phillip Lazaro died due to multiple organ failures. It is assumed to be the rudimentary cause though it is not addressed to the common people yet.
