Shooting scenario in Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas 

A video has been released relating to the fire in the hallway of Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. The surveillance video which was released showed cops retreating from gunfire as the shooting continued.

What is the new surveillance video of Texas which is released?

A video that shook the core of America, was featuring an 18-year-old boy. The newspaper Austin America- Statesman uploaded a video in which the boy was seen entering the school at 11:33 am. It was after he banged his truck outside the land. He was seen carrying arms with his semi-automatic gun. The criminal continues to walk in the hallway when no one was present, but a young boy notice him opening fire into the classroom.  

The criminal does his hostile act by killing the small innocent boy by firing dozens of rounds at the doorway and then he goes inside. He then starts his shooting outside the classroom, it is assumed to be at law officials. The police officer then went away from the area and stood at some distance. 

They were seen thronged at one end of the hallway. The shooters didn’t break into the classrooms till 12:21 pm till the officials arrived at the scene. The officers were carrying semi-automatic weapons with which they were wearing the ballistic shield. 

Henceforth, the officers finally confronted the killer at 12:50 pm. Also, after a Border Patrol officer encountered him. The video was evidence of the cop’s fury in response to the massacre. However, the gap of approximately one hour and fifteen minutes between the cops entering the hallway and confronting the shooter is still a mystery. 

The hostile act of the shooters led to the loss of lives of 14 fourth-class students and two teachers in the accident. The tragedy took place on 24th May few days before their session supposes to end.

How did the officers react to the viral video?

Victims’ families highly denounced the act of the reputed newspaper releasing the video without their approval. They said that they were supposed to view the video first. 

 ‘One of the most chicken things I’ve ever seen.’ Were the comments given by Mayor Don McLaughlin in a council meeting in reference to the newspaper agency. 

Furthermore, he said, ‘Some parts of the video should not have been released.’

 

The criticism of the video is also released by the head of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
