Janet Jackson’s power-packed performance was earlier interrupted due to some technical difficulties at the Essence Festival of Culture
Janet’s festival loses audio midconcert during the festival
Janet Jackson had taken her share of headlines when she performed at Essence festival of Culture at Ceasar’s dome in New Orleans
A lot of big names had their presence known at the Essence festival of Culture
If the official numbers are to be believed, Janet had managed to get a houseful for the event which had roughly 48,500 seats to begin with.

However, the winner of the Grammy award suffered a minor setback during her performance because her sound stopped right in the middle of her performance
However, due to their skill of Janet, the glitch went nearly unobserved by the audience and the singer continued with her performance for almost another hour.
Janet had made the whole show entertaining as at her entry she was flanked by four dancers with her famous tracks like What Have You Done For Me Lately, Control, Nasty and That’s The Way Love Goes.

Other technical problems at the festival
Janet wasn’t the only one who suffered an interruption due to her mic suddenly stop working and there were others who reported about similar problems
Fans and watchers told that the sound levels for Halle and Chloe Bailey’s performances were not proper and were not satisfactory.
Also hulu subscribers also had a problem with the festival since the performances were not broadcasted for the viewers, even Nicki minaj’s performance were not streamed.
The host, Angela Yee apologized and told the audience how the situation was out of their hands.

The last album from janet had come out 7 years ago, she talked about recording again but says her top priority is her son at the moment.
