Elon Musk, a billionaire entrepreneur, made a bid 10 days ago to buy Twitter for $43 billion. Musk is now rumoured to be meeting with leaders from the social media giant this weekend to discuss his acquisition attempt.

Both parties will meet on Sunday, April 24th, 2022, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The world’s wealthiest individual said on April 1st that he is willing to pay $54.20 in cash for every share he does not own. This is estimated to be 38% more than the original pricing.

Nonetheless, the agency’s shares in New York City were little changed on Thursday, remaining at $45.81.

Many people, however, interpreted this as a hint that Musk will finally succeed in his takeover of Twitter.

Thing you need to know about Elon.

Elon Musk is in negotiations with Twitter about a possible acquisition.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Twitter is eager to work with Musk on a transaction. At the very least, they’re willing to listen to Musk and explore a last bid for Twitter’s acquisition.

The founder of Tesla and SpaceX, on the other hand, has previously declared that he will not budge from $54.20 per share.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Twitter officials are currently pondering a number of issues. They’re debating the final price tag for Twitter, as well as the possibility of admitting other bidders.

According to Reuters, Musk visited with several of Twitter’s largest shareholders this week to sell his bid and explain why the social media platform would be better under his leadership.

When the 50-year-old billionaire takes over Twitter, he plans to make a few changes, according to reports. He will, for example, allow for longer tweets and the ability to pivot adverts.

According to the report, only a handful Twitter shareholders have expressed an interest in meeting with Musk to discuss the situation.

Whatever the case may be, only time will tell if Musk is willing to invest a few more millions or billions to take Twitter private.

When the company’s largest shareholder tweeted “Moving on” on Sunday, he may have hinted that he is over the takeover. Musk then clarified that he was joking with Bill Gates about climate change.

According to reports, Twitter will hold an earnings call on Thursday. They’ll almost certainly talk about Musk’s bid. With each passing day, the chances of Musk assuming control of Twitter are increasing.
