It appears that former WWE star and now acting fame Dwayne Johnson has been pulling all the strings he can to ensure that there is a separate and stand-alone film for the DC character Black Adam, which is being played by Dwayne the Rock Johnson himself. While featuring as a guest in the show Vanity fair on Thursday that went by, that was the 11th of august, the Jumanji actor revealed how he had been lobbying for the support for Black Adam to be a separate stand-alone film, he talked about how when he had seen the draft of the first scripts of the movie which had both the stories of Shazam and Black adam, Dwayne felt that the full potential of the character of the black adam wasn’t being utilized, he felt that it would be a great disservice to the character, he believed that the tone of the character of Shazam will be quite different from that of the black adam and clubbing them into one would not be the best of ideas, the rock mentioned how his idea was met with a lot of criticism, although one can easily link this to the cost-cutting measures happening at DC films
